We believe that sustainability is a responsibility. Carolina Farmstead is proud to be part of the sustainable furniture movement through both our use of reclaimed wood in many of our pieces, as well as our commitment to quality, which reduces waste.

Sustainability requires quality -- no matter what materials a table is made out of, if it’s going to break or wear out or be thrown out in a year or so, it’s still contributing to the problem of cheap junk filling up landfills. At Carolina Farmstead, we create pieces that you’ll want to keep for generations. We use the best quality natural materials, which in many cases include reclaimed planks from old North Carolina warehouses and barns.

We want the furniture we build to be part of families long term, as your family and the environment around you grow and prosper. Sustainable practices mean that a hundred years from now, you’ll still be able to find Carolina Farmstead tables in dining rooms -- not in landfills.
